On rooftops in Subareas A, B, and C, the standard list of permitted obstructions applies. That means certain rooftop structures — things like stair bulkheads, water tanks, mechanical equipment, and elevator housings — are allowed to stick up above the building's height limit, just as they are elsewhere in the city.
