New York City Zoning Resolution Section 116-13: Special Sign Regulations. Applies to 1 zoning districts.
This special district borrows the sign rules of a standard C4-2 commercial zone, with one tweak: no flashing signs. Specifically, flashing signs are banned in Subareas A, B, and C, plus the Esplanade, Pier Place, and the Cove — keeping the waterfront areas calm, not Times Square.
Section 116-13 - Special Sign Regulations
The sign regulations of the underlying C4-2 District in Section 32-60 (Sign Regulations) shall be modified as follows: flashing signs shall not be permitted in Subareas A, B and C, the Esplanade , Pier Place and the Cove .
