About this school

Humanities & Arts challenges students to dream big and accomplish even more. Our strong academic focus is coupled with an equally strong sequence in Visual Arts, Graphic Arts, Performing Arts (theater, music, dance). Students can also become New York State Licensed in Cosmetology, Nail Science Technology, and Barbering; receiving career skills upon graduation. Our college-going culture is fostered by a continuing partnership with Farmingdale University, Queens College, York College and multiple Advanced Placement (AP) courses. Students can earn as many as 21 credits towards an Associate degree beginning in 9th grade. Our flexible and advanced programming structure gives students the opportunity to graduate early in three rather than four years
