Upper East Side

The Mykonian House sidewalk cafe on the Upper East Side moved forward with the subcommittee's approval. Council Member Keith Powers, who represents the district, voiced his support for the application.

White Plains Road next to the Parkchester Residential Development

The Ajo & Oregano sidewalk cafe on White Plains Road next to Parkchester was approved as modified, after the proposed northern entrance was removed and the cafe was capped at eight tables and sixteen chairs (corrected on the floor from ten). Majority Leader Amanda Farías backed the modified plan, noting her office worked with the restaurant's owners to resolve siting and pedestrian-flow concerns she had raised on the original application.
