Chair Salamanca convened the full Land Use Committee to ratify what its zoning subcommittee had teed up: 12 land-use actions including the Atlantic Avenue Mixed-Use Plan (AAMUP), a roughly 4,600-unit Brooklyn rezoning with about 1,900 permanently affordable homes. Staff trimmed the proposal , striking MIH Options 2 and 3, downzoning a stretch of R7D to R7A, and setting a 30,000-sf minimum lot threshold , to push the deepest affordability.
